ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Newport News police responded to a four-vehicle crash at J. Clyde Morris Boulevard and Harpersville Road around 7:30 a.m. Friday that injured two people—one in an overturned SUV whose driver was cited for reckless driving and driving without a license, as both injured declined ambulance transport.  13News Now

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • NASA announced that SpaceX will launch an ISS mission with Commander Zena Cardman from Williamsburg, along with Pilot Mike Fincke and mission specialists Kimiya Yui and Oleg Platonov, with two expected to join by July. Cardman, selected in 2017 and trained on SpaceX Dragon, will lead a long-duration experiment that will test methods for future moon missions.  WAVY
  • Attorney General Jason Miyares urged Virginians to check if they qualify for compensation if they bought certain generic drugs between May 2009 and December 2019 as part of settlements worth over $39 million with Apotex and $10 million with Heritage Pharmaceuticals for allegedly inflating prices.
