Justin Saunders, Vice President of Membership and Strategic Growth at the Hampton Roads Chamber, was named the inaugural Rising Leader Award winner by the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives at its 2026 Spring Conference in Winchester, honoring his leadership in growing chamber membership and local business ties.

Newport News Public Schools students competed at the Tidewater Science and Engineering Fair on March 21 at the Old Dominion University Webb Center.

Several students advanced to state and national competitions after earning top placements in categories including Chemistry, Biological Sciences, and Medical & Health Sciences.
