  • Norfolk finished March as the 5th warmest on record with an average temperature of 55.9 and 1.78 inches of rain, deepening drought conditions. In April, temperatures will climb from the mid-60s to mid-70s while expected rain aims to chip away at the deficit — more consistent showers may bring relief.  13News Now

HEALTH NEWS

  • A state report issued Tuesday showed low flu activity with about 1.5% of ER visits linked to influenza after a peak around Christmas. Local health data suggested that current symptoms were more likely tied to seasonal allergies.  13News Now
