  • Newport News Public Schools will hold asynchronous virtual classes on April 21 due to security concerns from high voter turnout as local schools serve as polling stations. Nearby districts such as Chesapeake and Hampton are also adjusting their schedules in response.  WTKR

Tim Kaine hosted a roundtable in Williamsburg today where local pharmacists warned that low reimbursement rates by PBMs risk closing independent pharmacies, a change that could limit access to medications in underserved communities—lawmakers have passed reforms set to take effect in 2029 if faster action is not taken.  13News Now
