- ➤ A former Sentara employee filed a lawsuit alleging unpaid overtime wages and meal break violations after working as a respiratory therapist and administrative associate at three local hospitals from October 2021 until February 2025. The suit claims that mandatory thirty minute meal breaks and a rounding policy that limits clock in and out times have reduced pay for patient care workers—claims that led her legal team to request a jury trial.
