A man passed out and died while working at a Newport News shipyard on April 11; emergency crews responded and attempted CPR but did not succeed while early indications do not suggest an industrial accident.

Newport News police are looking for 14-year-old Elijah Chandler who went missing at about 6:30 a.m. Monday when he left a home on Hertzler Road riding his red bicycle.

He is described as a Black teen with ear-length dreadlocks, 5'5 tall, wearing all-black clothes and white Air Force One Nike shoes and carrying a backpack marked with Hurricane HRH and Syncere Faith—officials ask anyone with information to call 757-247-2500.
