- ➤ 10 On Your Side reports that a fellow sailor is held in pretrial confinement at the Naval Consolidated Brig in Chesapeake over the death of Seaman Angelina Resendiz, and a probable cause hearing will occur within two days (with the suspect's name set to be revealed by Monday). Family spokesperson Michael Muhammad said Esmerelda Castle's mother has raised concerns about delayed notifications and early alerts (adding pressure for clearer next steps in the investigation). - ➤ Downtown Newport News now has a new mixed-income housing development that replaced a former community and offers 155 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units built with a $30 million HUD grant.
