On Wednesday morning, a Navy pilot assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 83 ejected at 9:53 a.m. from an F/A-18E Super Hornet during a routine training flight off the Virginia coast and was rescued at 11:21 a.m.—taken to a hospital as officials investigated the mishap.
