- ➤ The City of Newport News launched its Fall 2025 Contractors Academy to help small businesses compete for government contracts by offering a five-session workshop series at the Main Street Library from September 25th to November 6th—attendees can join individual sessions based on their needs. The city will also host food service forums on October 9th and 23rd and plans advanced sessions in Spring 2026. WTKR
