EDUCATION NEWS

  • Menchville High School dual language students presented in Spanish at Saunders Elementary on October 28—each student shared cultural facts, traditional dances, and information about famous Latino figures as part of a celebration of Hispanic heritage. Instructional supervisor Susanna Bailey said the event shows younger students what they can achieve as they continue the Dual Language Immersion program that began in Kindergarten and will be completed by 2027.  Newport News Public Schools
