  • The Elizabeth River Trail Foundation and Spinclusion merged on November 15th to expand free adaptive cycling rides for seniors, veterans and people with mobility challenges—this merger will create a paid Spinclusion position and more inclusive ride events along the Elizabeth River Trail.  Hampton Roads Chamber

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Newport News Public Schools announced book titles and plans for One City Reads to get everyone reading together this month. Elementary students will read The One and Only Ivan while middle school students read Framed plus families can join reading activities until December 19.  Newport News Public Schools
  • Newport News Public Schools revealed the book titles for its month-long One City Reads campaign on November 17th—elementary students will read The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate while middle school students will read Framed by James Ponti. The campaign invites community members to join students by reading until December 19 and participating in related literacy activities.  Hampton Roads Chamber
