Imagine More at Arts on Main

Arts on Main is about to be renovated and expanded! Come to November’s First Friday to learn more about the exciting and transformative plans that will result in an expanded arts center in the heart of Gloucester.

The renovations will include adding a second floor above the back of the building, a sky walk to connect this new space with our existing second floor, an elevator and stairs in the middle of the gallery to improve accessibility, and reconfigured spaces for offices, storage, and a kitchen. When finished, Arts on Main will have improved exhibit spaces, a dedicated arts studio for classes and art production, and an additional 2,500+ square feet of multipurpose space for programs, classes, and events. Arts on Main’s last day of regular operations before the construction begins is Saturday, November 7. Don’t miss this chance to learn more about the plans, purchase early holiday presents, and take a last look before renovations begin!

The First Friday reception will take place at Arts on Main on Friday, October 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Light bites will be served, and beer and wine will be available for purchase. This event is free and open to the public. Arts on Main’s last day of regular operations is Saturday, November 7.
