A dump truck got stuck underneath an overpass on I-64 westbound near the Toano exit Tuesday afternoon at about 2:15 p.m. after leaving a median construction area with its cargo box upright, which clipped the overpass and bent its axle—State Police charged driver Steven Waddell of Newport News with reckless driving and took him to a hospital with minor injuries while the Virginia Department of Transportation set up a detour.
