HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The CDC now advises Newport News residents to talk with a doctor before getting a COVID-19 vaccine instead of following a blanket recommendation, after a new panel of vaccine advisers was appointed by US Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. Local health experts say that people 65 and older remain at high risk — and the new policy may create delays for those who need the shot.
